The Blazon is a prestigious plaque presented by the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs to distinguished dining establishment owners and executive chefs.

Award Criteria

The Blazon is recommended by the Bailli and Bailliage Committee to professional members whose establishments maintain a superb level of cuisine, service and hospitality according to international standards. Required features include excellent support services, a grill or revolving spit, and grilled or roasted meat menu options.

Display and Usage

The plaque can be displayed inside or outside the establishment. Blazon holders may feature the Chaîne logo on menus, brochures, uniforms, and dining items, provided they include the member's name, title, and organizational affiliation. The plaque remains Chaîne property and the privilege extends only to members in good standing.

Obligations

If a Blazon-holding member departs an establishment, resigns, or is removed, they must surrender the plaque to the Bailli within eight days.
