Member Classifications

The organization recognizes three membership tiers: Member-at-Large (unaffiliated with local chapters), Bailliage Member (affiliated locally), and National Council Member. Members are further designated as professional or non-professional, with non-professionals typically entering at the rank of Chevalier or Dame.

Ribbon System

All members receive ribbons upon induction or promotion denoting their rank and status. Members are encouraged to wear ribbons at society events. Officer ribbons use specific color coding: green for operating or administrative blue, with braid indicating the service level (gold for national, silver for regional, none for local).

Advancement Ranks

Regular members can achieve Officier status after five years of service or ten years at personal request. Professional members follow different timelines. Long-term members receive special recognition:

  • 20 years: Commandeur
  • 30 years: Officier Commandeur
  • 40 years: Grand Commandeur

Awards

Local and regional leaders may award Bronze Stars of Excellence and Mondial Bronze Medals annually for outstanding service.
