L'Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs
L'Ordre Mondial is a specialized division within the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs dedicated to the achievements and interests of our members in the field of wine, beer and spirits.
Any member in good standing with Chaîne des Rôtisseurs may join. Our membership includes beverage professionals, distributors, producers, and passionate amateurs.
L'Ordre Mondial hosts educational tastings and experiences throughout the year, exploring beverages from Old World to New World wines, from Pilsner to Ale and from Scotch to Sake. Events tend to be smaller and less formal than main Chaîne dinners.
The organization also actively promotes young industry professionals through an annual international Young Sommeliers competition.
Founded in Paris in 1963, L'Ordre Mondial has been integral to the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs since inception.
